After effect converter

Nope sorry there isn't .. at one point there was a tool that allowed ld2000 to render for after effects but not the other way around.. after effects doesn't per say work with content from after effects since most of it isn't really true vector.. however you can always export svg and use this in beyond or use an auto tracer worst case. Content is best made in BEYOND natively and there is a video masking feature within beyond.

Thank you for your reply masterpj. I was actually trying to generate particles like effect that could follow some sort of path. Would you happen to know how to go about it?

Pieterjan is mostly correct. Adobe and MAXON entered into an arrangement whereby Cinema 4D could be used inside After Effects. Since we have a plug-in for Cinema 4D, we were able to extend that plugin to work within After Effects. Although it worked, there weren't too many people who used it, and nobody really gave good feedback to us. For that reason, we stopped pursuing it.

At the present time we do have it for LD2000, and for versions of C4D and After Effects that were a few years old. If there was such a laser artist to use it, really do great things with it, and then give us good feedback, we could certainly continue to develop it for use with both BEYOND and also LD2000.

in older versions of after effects you could render a swf, this kept the vector contents. you could import this video in lc flash which detected the vectors and converted them into laser. but now in after you can't export in swf
