APC Mini mkII Mapping

I want to split the grid. So I can have a 5 x 8 grid for the cues. Then a 3 x 8 grid for colors and FX. All on the same Layer. I cant seem to figure out how to assign the extra buttons to take scripting for the sliders or fx color pickers.
The shift to fx page is not intuitive, and something i will not use in show. So i want it all to be on the one layer.

If you split the grid in half to get to the FX section, I think you've made a mistake. To access the FX section, you can hold down the SHIFT key and move the grid to the FX section and use it actively. Of course, ease of use is also important. I use an 8x8 grid for cue and continue on the grid using the SHIFT key for FX.
