XY2-100 Format

We have purchased the ScannerMAX galvos and are trying to get them working with an AccesIO digital output streaming device. What data format is expected to be sent to the galvos to have them work properly? We expect that we need to use the XY2-100 format. Is it just a matter of sending interleaved X and Y 16-bit values for the galvo positioning? Is there a document with more information available?

When you received the system, you received a Quick Start Guide. That guide directed you to a particular website where you download the software. When you install the software, there is a HELP menu, and one of the items in the help menu is "Help Documentation". That is the 100-page manual, which fully describes everything about the system, including giving in-depth information about the communications protocol with examples.

I would like to use the XY2-100 interface to control the Galvo.
I have install the download software "DEBUG Mach-DSP Servo Control Application 2.0 build 161". I am able to connect to the board. However, I am not able to see the "Together/Basic" Tab to select the Input Source as "Digital Serial Interface (XY2-100)" as described in the user manual section 7.3.
My ScannerMAX Mach-DSP board serial Number is PS500935.
Currently the analog interface is functioning well. How do I enable the XY2-100 interface?

Yes indeed, as mentioned in our "Getting Started" video, the software powers up in Basic mode, so non-skilled employees don't accidentally change a parameter they didn't intend to. What you need is the Advanced mode, which is easily activated, but we do not publish how to do that for semi-obvious reasons. If you write to support@scannermax.com, they will convey the information to you.
