hot beams

Hey all, In QS3.0 you could freely move around the hot beams and add the bottom two layers of effects to them (Swirl, Double X, etc...). But now you can't? You can't seem to resize them or move them around either. I saw the couple of advanced settings tick boxes for Prevent the Master Size...
