I have installed QS4 on 2 differents computer and i can't use my APC Mini.
I have always the same message: "Program can not access to specified MIDI Input device ("APC MINI") Please ensure that specified MIDI Input device is free for use".
- 2 differents computer: same problem...
- Another Midi console (APC 20), same problem...

I don't know what to do...

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64

In QS4, do you see in the top menu an update button?

If not, please download the latest version of QuickShow from Pangolin.com.

If you have, make sure you update to the latest version.
Try only to connect the USB devices directly to the computer.. So no switches, hubs or such things.

Did you already try to replace the USB cable?
Could there be a virtual midi device installed like mido-ox or yoke?

I have bought a brand new AKAI APC mini, and after watching the Quickshow videos it looked easy, it should just be a plug and play.

Well after I plugged it in, nothing, I kept reading people's threads and that,
And after reading this thread, I did a update, (though there is no update button) pressed "help" on the TAB and updated that way.
Once the QuickShow all restarted the keypad on the APCmini light up like a Christmas tree.
So thank you to everyone for all types of questions, as I managed to get mine working from all the answers.
