Beams and waves ignore zones?

I was using the laser at an event and I had a specific area that the laser would work but with quickshow adjusting the zones only does for graphic images not beams and waves, am I missing something or how do I control this?!

You also need to configure all the zones that go to that one laser. Not only the first one. The cues go to different zones in QuickShow.
