Beyond controlling lighting software

Whilst the DMX output support in Beyond is decent for simple lighting effects, doing more complex things seems to be harder. I use Daslight for lighting control and, whilst it's possible to set up Beyond as a server to respond to DMX in, I would prefer to go the other way - when I select a cue I'd like to trigger Daslight as well. Is there some way of forwarding the MIDI from pressing a cue button on the APC40 from Beyond to somewhere else?

I'm guessing Pangoscript is the way to do this?

In the midi devices window, go into configure for your APC40, in the options tab, you can select echo to MIDI out and chose which device to send to. You'll probably need to make a virtual midi port to send to, and for Daslight to listen to. You'll need to set it as one of your midi devices out in beyond. A free option is Loopmidi. I expect that everything will get sent out though, not just cue buttons. If you want more advanced midi features, BOME midi translator pro can do all kinds of cool stuff but has a steep learning curve.

Yeah that will work. But only if I trigger cues from the APC. If I trigger them by clicking or key, there will be no MIDI. So I think it has to be via each cue's PangoScript start / end event in the cue settings. This should also catch the case where "blackout" is selected.
