"Hi everyone, I'm curious to know if anyone has experience using the FB3QS or FB4 interface with an ILDA to RJ45 connector adapter? Is it feasible? I'm looking into this because in Argentina, using RJ45 for long-distance connections is more practical and readily available than ILDA connections. Thanks in advance!"

The FB3 DAC is USB one side (from computer) to DB25 (ilda standard) plugs into any ILDA projector

An FB4 uses RJ45 by defaut Computer > Switch > RJ45 input to the FB4 DAC / if internal to laser what ever connection internally / IF an external box this has a DB25 (ILDA standard ) you can use the old printer type DB25 cable or a short ribon cable for short run to laser

"I understand, and I have an FB3, my question is whether it's possible to manufacture an ILDA male to RJ45 adapter. To connect my laser equipment via RJ45 to the FB3, which has an ILDA connection. Thank you."

Yes, you most certainly can use RJ45 CABLE for your ILDA signal. Note that it's NOT ethernet, so you can't plug it through a switch or any other devices. There's not a standard pinout established for this purpose that I'm aware of, so you can make your own adaptors. Depending on your needs, you may be able to use a single RJ45, or you may need to use 2 RJ45's to get enough conductors.

I have mine wired up with X,Y and shutter on the first cable, and RGB on the 2nd cable.
