HI folks,
I really love the distributed scanning function. But I was wondering about the following scenario:
I am running a big commercial show and I am using distributed scanning with 2 lasers.
What would happen in case one of my two FB4 / projectors crashed due to whatever reason... let´s assume the power supply broke down.
--> Will the master FB4 recognize this and simply take over all points of the frames? Of course the frames will start flickering due to double the points per scanner... but nevertheless the show is not completely lost. --> Is this realistic? (I never tried so far, that´s why I am asking). This would be a nice approach for creating some kind of desaster backup concept...
If the above concept is not a good idea, what would be your approach to realize a remanence setup for high budget shows?
