Hi All,
If you are using the Logic Systems, Inc. DMX1602 or DMX1602-DRV cards remember they are 18 channel devices, not 16 channel.
You must adjust the number of channels in your DMX frame to 18. The default from Pangolin is 16 and that will cause the cards to "sit and ponder the universe".
One more thing.... The newest version of the driver cards (DMX****-DRV) have channel one switchable from DMX driven to TTL driven. This allows you to use the shutter output straight from the computer without relying on DMX for your safety shutter.
It does require 2 more wires if you use it that way, but it allows you to not require another driver card or transistor to run the shutter directly from the Pangolin card or other TTL source.
