FB4 Network in/out?

My FB4 has two network ports. Are they just two ports cabled to one physically, or is there a network function there - so i can get ethernet into something else down the chain?

So:

PC---cat5----FB4----cat5----EthernetThing possible?
 
This is only 1 port. That is if you have a FB4 with an ethercon and rj45 female connector.
You cannot connect two ethernet cables to it.

Also its highly inadvisable to daisy chain switches. Besides the fact that those micro switches lack the proper protocol managers, you also create a single point of failure in your setup.
 
I am using FB4 with external boxes with two Ethercons inside it. I can make a network chain.. no problem ;)
