Add brightness control as a key effect in the abstract editor.

You Can do that with oscillating effect > brightness

You can sort of do it with that. But if I wanted complex brightness control (eg fade up over 2s, hold for 10s, fade out over 4s) then that gets hard.

I think Livepro would be a better choice to use.
