It is unlikely to be possible to fine-tune the position here.
It is better to do this in the Projection Zone settings.
In the "Geometric correction" tab, we have the possibility of fine-tuning.
This also works in Live mode.

I am moving a beam in real time.
Looking at the beam and moving it to where ever i need it at the moment.
That is why I use the live - position.
In Live Quick right click is enlarging the position pad.
I was hopping for the same thing or the option to undock it and than to enlarge it.
Maybe the developers can answer that.

The right clock for enlarge was blocked by one cool beta tester, because of concern about inconsistency, right click "must" reset. Well, kind of understandable to have a pattern. So, right click blocked. You may consider Universe components, or external control.
