LivePRO and DMX controls?

Am I correct in believing that LivePRO does NOT recognize the DMX portion of the frames created in LD2000 and that LivePRO is still DMX impaired (i.e. I can't control the GM-20s on our laser rail) ?

If I'm correct, could someone direct me to a technique that allows FULL MIDI control (pitchbend, modulation, etc.) of the graphic images while at the same time allowing DMX control as well?

    Hi Ah Clem,

Yes, that is correct. LivePRO does not currently use the DMX portion of LD2000-style frames. Currently LivePRO only offers two types of DMX Output -- DMX Output of what we call "Virtual TTL bits", and DMX Output for X-Y "Moving Head" devices.

Laser folks are mostly using DMX to connect to beam actuators, so the "Virtual TTL bits" concept works well. If you need information about how to use this function, let us know and we will give you more information about it.
