MIDI triggers of Quickshow cues, rtc.

Hi,

This is my first forum access. I have a Cakewalk Sonar X1 Producer installation. At present most lighting is on/off, triggered by a homegrown MIDI controller via MIDI thru a Roland UM-3G 3x3 USB interface. Have just bought an RGB animation laser + QUickshow to run it. The manual makes reference to MIDI but it's a bit confusing as how to provide MIDI triggers for Quickshow :)cues, etc. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I love my new system but I do need to synchronise Quickshow changes to Sonar X1. Thanks
 
To make this work you need to find a MIDI loopback device - google for an appropriate one, install it, and select it as an output device in Sonar and an input device in Quickshow. Then your sequencer can drive QS.

Many hanks for your assistance. Loaded loopbe1 and set up as required. Both apps see the virtual ports. Will complete testing shortly.
