Min/Max XYZ Positions with DMX Server Mode

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to work out a way to push an entire playback output off the edge of the projection zone.
Currently, putting the DMX channel to 0 or 255 on say X, only results in the image being moved way off the edge. Ie, the centre line is pushed to the very edge, but not beyond.
I need it to be all the way off, ie -200 to 200 vs -100 to 100 in 'slider-language'.

Have fiddled with having a larger zoom across the output permanently, then scaling down my output, no luck.

I note there is a Live Control 'sliders' config option in the config pane, but this doesn't include XYZ.
I believe this is exactly what I need, unless there is another trick? I don't think I can utilise pangoscript (which would make it super easy), as I need a solution using DMX server mode.

Cheers,

Tim

Hi @Bob@Pangolin ,

Thanks for your reply! The video is discussing the FB3 style control, I'm wanting to use the DMX server mode for multiple heads.
My goal, is to create chases across heads where the entire output moves off the edge of the output window, whereas I can only shift the output to land halfway off the edge.

Cheers,

Tim

Hello @Bob@Pangolin - the above vide is using the built in DMX to FB4, I'm wanting to use the DMX server mode in Beyond.
I have everything setup and working, the issue is just how the system treats the maximum X and Y 'position' extremities.

This is a dodgy chatgpt pic, but you get the idea (just pretend the circle was a bit smaller)
