Registration on 5.5 gets stuck

When I open Beyond 5.1 on my laptop registration works immediately (with a FB4 beyond license)
Installed Beyond 5.5 on the same laptop and registration just hangs in the registration process. Not able to proceed or output laser.
Both versions are not blocked by the firewall.

Any advise?
