Syncing music to laser. Latest version of QuickShow

When I install virtual DJ does it automatically incorporate the music plugin on QuickShow? This literally is my first day playing with this and trying to figure it out.

Also when I click the virtual DJ icon uptop all it does is cycle through images - it won't allow me to stay on one.. How do I stop that? :)
