Timeline Feature Requests

After over 100 hours of working in beyond essentials, here are some timeline feature requests I feel would make the user experience smoother (apologies if any of these are already implemented or in a higher tier of the program):

1. It would be really nice if a ctrl+shift+z applied a redo to the last thing you undo - even if there are memory constraints, a limited redo buffer would be better than nothing

2. Bulk editing events in the timeline - resizing an event duration or applying a cross fade in the timeline should apply to all highlighted events

3. Better startup configurability/store user settings - I haven't found a way to do this, so if it's already implemented, the UX could use an improvement here - make the magnet setting configurable on startup - every time I launch a session I need to do a few things, and one is setting the "snap events" to Strong, another is enabling the preview window above the timeline and set it to "advanced overlay preview".

4. Pasting events should adhere to the magnet config - every time I'm bulk pasting events, it's a pain because I have to always ensure i paste and drag it to be fully snapped to the grid, and its not uncommon to accidentally unhighlight the pasted events and have to re-highlight them again. Pasting should snap to the nearest grid mark when "strong" snap is enabled.

5. Allow events to be dragged between laser tracks - reorganizing a timeline could be a much smoother experience without necessitating copy/paste for this workflow.

6. Introduce a tempo automation track like in DAW workflows - timecoding a DJ set would be much easier for just testing out tempo ramp sections if you didn't have to rely on tempo links to drive this.

7. Better hotkey support - especially for editing an event cue - I'd like to just press ctrl+something to open that dialog window rather than a right click + edit (even better if there was an alt to this hotkey to open the dialog to the effect tab) ... maybe one exists, but if that's the case, the UI/UX for an event's right-click menu needs to be better (add horizontal real-estate so that hotkeys are visible)

6a. Allow automation in the track to be "drawn/recorded" via midi controller.

8. Allow horizontal scrolling via side to side function of a mouse wheel. (Most mouses allow for side to side scrolling by moving mouse wheel left or right) Those who don't own a mouse with side to side scrolling can still hold ctrl & wheel up or down to achieve horizontal scrolling.

9. When holding shift and scrolling the tracks via mouse wheel, scrolling should NOT be inverted like on a track pad. Down is down, up is up.

Solid additions! The inverted scrolling and lack of horizontal scroll support is not awesome...
