Why does my show designer keep locking UP

every time I restart my program it says there is a problem and wont let me in... upon uninstall and reinstall it wipes out shows ...3 days worth of writing ..GONE ..WTF is making it do
this

could you tell more about what did happen before this error came up?
is the program telling you why it wont start up?
 
Hello Swamp.

On reinstallation, on-top of an current installation, normally backups are placed inside the backup folder that is created during re-installation.

The cause of the lockups i cannot explain. For this we should go more in detail.
