What is the best HID / MIDI controller to perform live ?

This question is for performers who have experience in live performances. I use BEYOND Ultimate and I'd like your suggestions and experiences with your preferred interface.

Tried to "Google" this one but without satisfied answers...

What do you think is the best HID / MIDI controller for BEYOND in live performances and why?

Well I don't know what's the best controller out there but the most hyped one right now must be the Akai APC40.
That's the one I'm using and the one that Pangolin has put the most effort in supporting it.

I just recieved the newsletter about Apc Control in beyond so i tried to hook it up but couldn't get it working, are the mappings built in like HID mode or so i have to map it by midi myself?

As i read in the newsletter you need the new build of Beyond, it isn't build in in previous versions.
