Saving cues NOT Exporting??

You can also right click on a cue and choose "Edit Frame Animation" (for normal animated frames) to open the frame editor; then go into the "File" menu and save the cue out as a .QSFRM file.

If you are only able to get a LD2000 compatible .LDS files you are not saving the file out from the Frame Editor you are exporting it from the main cue grid. You need to do the same thing you tried with the abstract but with a normal animation cue.
