Exporting .ild from 5.6

Hi

I want to use Live Quick to load animation to FB3 SE for a stand alone show.

In ST I go to Playback settings - Output
I want to output a scene to ILDA file
But I don't have the option to ILDA.
All I have is :
To QM2000
To Laser file ( where I can save only to LDS.)

I am using QMPro.

In LD I save a block of frames to ild. but Live Quick can not read it.

Is there a way from Beyond to export a show or a cue to ild. ?

Ilda is an outdated format.

Its impossible to store all the information in ILDA files what we have to store.
Thats why this function is not available.

Best regards,

Bob

The reason you cannot read is also because when you save and select ilda you also have to type .ild behind the filename.. else it will not save it as an ilda.
This is a problem with windows as Bill has said before in the past.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

Hi Aricha,

Bob is correct. A full 10% of our support phone calls and emails are like "I can't get the ILDA file format to work". No kidding! It's a 30-year-old format...

Fortunately in your case there is no problem. All Pangolin software can read the LDS file format (which is Pangolin's Lasershow Designer Secure file format which contains data that modern software systems need) and all Pangolin software exports it. So in Showtime you indeed choose "Export to Laser File" which will create an LDS file which can be directly imported into LiveQUICK or any other Pangolin software.

It dose not work for me.
Not from Beyond and not from Ld.

When I save 1 frame as LDS LiveQ can open it.
But when I save an animation as LDS it dose not work.

Using LiveQ 2.4 build 876 win7
