Okay this might work 
Now I want to use a TouchOSC Button to apply this FX. Is there scripting I need to apply to this "midi signal" to make it work with it?

TouchOSC has some limitations. But Launching effects directly (QuickFX) is no problem.

Fortunately I've been able to make my own "mock" of the APC40 template using TouchOSC.
I'm just sending Midi notes and assigning them to the pangoscipt and midi configuration on Beyond.
Is there not way to send a midi button signal (note) to the strobe effect in a universe?
