usb hub for fb3

I worry that the FB3's connected to USB on my Dell tower is going to shorten the life of the FB3 device. They are powered on all the time as this PC never is shut down. The PC may sleep but the USB devices stay powered on. What's your thoughts on the FB3's in "Always On" mode?
