A/V Track Red Crossed

I tried to get Pangolin Beyond working with a new sound device Behringer umc404hd). Sending sound on PC to this external device let the audio file in the show getting unavailable (red crossed). Changing back to internal sound card, red cross in A/V track disappears.

I'm trying to find out the dependency between used WAV-file and sound card type. Could you please help me? I would like to use this device being on stage.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Alex,

There is not dependency. The red icon means missing file or inability to open it.

What would be right idea - before change of sound card, restart QS/BEYOND. SDK use default audio device. in fact, I just changed a few times back and forth between Appolo Twin and internal soundcard, while BEYOND was opened - no problem. Seems like Windows is smart now, which is good.

Best Regards,

Hi Alexey,
this manner never happens before. I worked in this constellation and with the same file since. The only thing I changed is that I added this additional soundcard.

So did I get you right: this issue isn't a real issue? But what can I do to fix it? You think, the Behringer should work fine with Beyond?

I'm a bit concerned about the situation as I'm preparing the shows for next week and this situtation makes me really unsure...

Greetings

Hi Alex,

man, send log file to our support email. No, to report @ pangolin.com. Click Ctrl SHIFT F1 and BEYOND will make zip. Or take most recent log file from BEYOND\Logs. Application log the error when file is not opened, I will take a look. Just need to see log.

Alexey

Alexey,

ZIP is too large to send it by mail. So i just copied the most recent log files as attachment to the mail I sent to mentioned address.
Looking forward for any response and help.

Thanks in advance.
