I created a simple animation cue a long time ago and have recently tried to use it again with minor modifications. Unfortunately, it is not behaving the way I expect. It is a simple 90 frame animation of a small meteor traveling from the upper right corner of the screen to the lower left corner. I want to modify the animation so that it takes the meteor longer to make a single pass across the screen. My expectation is that I simply modify the Playback parameters under the Cue Properties. I should be able to set the “Total Seconds” to what I desire, and the FPS and Frame duration adjust accordingly. Done.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t work. When the cue plays back the meteor shoots across the top half of the screen and then goes back to the right side and shoots across again only starting from a lower starting position on the right side. The longer I set the “Total Seconds” for, the more times it repeats crossing the screen. Again, the desire is to simply have one screen crossing with the duration I desire.
The cue is set for a time-based animation, a linear wave form, a Stop end action, and a Loop counter of one.
What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
