Dumb question. How do I bind a MIDI controller button to activate a Universe multi-select button?

Hi!
Yes, similar questions appear from time to time. However, it is not how it supposed to work. There is core for command execution. There are commands. There are multiple places that generate commands, as example - UI of keyboard, or MIDI/DMX, or OSC, or PangoScript, or Universe. Universe is something that generate commands, but not opposite. If universe can generate some command, the MIDI/DMX and others can do this too.
We have in plans mapping of Universe components to MIDI and DMX. BEYOND 3.0.
