Best way to clear Beyond memory?

I have the Memory Usage window open so I can monitor how much is used. If I open a Playlist that almost fills memory, then make a new empty playlist, the memory stays full. And if I then load another large play list I get memory full errors as songs load. If I quit the program and relaunch it, the memory clears and I can open the 2nd play list.

But it seems like there should be a better way to purge the memory to load different playlists or workspaces. I don't want to have to relaunch every time I change shows.

    What build do you use?
Do you use "preload" option for shows in the playlist?

Yes I set the preload flag on each song.

I had an issue with memory usage error, running out of memory in Beyond 3.0. What I found out in my situation, there was just one video on the timeline in one of my project programs that was hogging up all of the memory. Its just another place to check out (AV timelines) if you get the Out Of Memory error.

Thanks for the tip. But my issue is based on having shows with thousands of laser frames filling up the memory.
