But this appears to simply send a request for the download link to be emailed?

I suggested a "check for updates" link be put in the about section in beyond.

Where did you find the upgrade link for 580?

Looking for 588 as well. The web site only lists 580. I'm excited to play around with the new kaleidoscope effect, seems just what I've been looking for :) But can't seem to find it. I noticed Alexei was using 588 in the demonstration, so I'm thinking it's new to that version.
 
A new installer with build 588 is being built to be added to the updates page. Once it is available I will respond here again.
