BOITIER EN DEFAUD

Sorry this is in English:

The LED on a Pangolin FB3 is actually very useful—it tells you exactly what state the controller is in. Here’s a simple breakdown of what each color means:

LED Color Meanings (FB3)

Solid Green

  • Powered, but not connected to software
  • USB is plugged in, but QuickShow or Beyond is NOT actively controlling it yet
    Think: “I’m on, but idle.”

Solid Yellow / Orange

  • Connected to software, but not outputting
  • The computer sees the FB3, but it’s not actively sending laser data
    Think: “Connected, waiting.”

Red (Flashing Slow)

  • Online, but no active cue/output
  • Everything is connected correctly, but nothing is playing
    Think: “Ready, but nothing running.”

Red (Flashing Fast)

  • Actively outputting to the laser
  • A cue, timeline, or effect is running
    Think: “Laser show is live.”

Yellow (Flashing)

  • Output disabled / fault condition
  • Common causes:
    • License issue
    • Safety interlock (E-stop)
    • Settings problem
      Think: “Something’s blocking output.”

⚪ White

  • Firmware update in progress
    Don’t unplug it here!

A short version in French:
C’est en fait un comportement normal :

Vert = branché
Orange = logiciel connecté
Rouge = vous avez lancé une animation → sortie active

Donc, à moins que vous ne voyiez pas de sortie laser, votre FB3 fonctionne probablement correctement.
