Bug report for QM2000

Helo everybody,
I have a ASROCK K7S8XE Ver 3 Motherbord with a SIS748 Chipset.
The QM2000 is not compatible with THIS chipset or THIS motherboard.

I have a question, the QM2000 is compatible with the NFORCE2 Chipset ?

Thanks !

Hi Duke,

As far as I know, the QM2000 is compatible with all motherboards. We have seen a few motherboards that may have some trouble booting under certain circumstances and with certain CMOS settings. You might try editing the CMOS settings and if there is a setting for on-board USB, try disabling this. One user reported that this fixed a similar problem. You might also try different slots and perhaps different Interrupt settings in the CMOS settings.

Sorry to hear that you are having these problems. Fortunately it has only been seen a few times before and fortunately other users have been able to work around this with CMOS settings.

As for the other motherboard you mentioned, I suppose it must work as well. Please be sure to report your findings so that all may benefit.

Hey Duke,
I have a Chaintech ZNF3-150 ZENITH board running overhere with an Athlon 64 bit processor under Windows XP without any problems. So in my opinion the Nforce chipsets should be support.

Greetings,
Marco
