button groups

Select whatever cues you want in a certain group. (Animations in one group and overhead beams in another for example). Use CTRL + Click the cues you want in first group. Open the cue properties (right click) and set what groups you want these in (1-10 and various colors). Do the same with your other grouped cues. At the top of page, activate "Groups". Now you can play only one cue per group, but have multiple groups running simultaneously. right click on the Groups tab at top of page and mess around with it to your liking. this works well with APC MIDI - just wish there were different color keys on the MIDI pad!!! :)
 
I did find that the Groups setting only works when Toggle Mode is applied. The Groups do not work when Flash Mode is set. Flash mode will play multiple cues within the same group regardless. I let Pangolin know and we'll see what they say about this issue. Might be by design or something they are working on yet!?!
