Cable Length

I have a full colour projector, using an A&A crystal, my question is, what would the max length of cable be, before the signal from the QM2000 became so weak and degraded that it impared output performance?

Hi Peter,

If you are using simetrical ( differential ) signal for x and y, with a good quality cable, you can reach more than 500 meter without any problem.
As you know, A&A works on a assymetrical signal only. You will get the best result by add a little electronic board at the driver entry that will convert the symetrical signal to asymetrical. By work this way, your color signals wouldn't get some "peaks and cracks " on the distance. Get a look on Bill's helpfiles were this is explained.
I recommand to use this kind of cable : LIYCY type 24 x 0,14mm
