Color Control using DMX channels

Ive seen in the Help files that you recommend using channels 1-6 for color controls. Are you talking about DMX channels? Either way.... The projector I'm using has it's color control (GM-20 actuators) set-up using DMX channels 13, 14, and 15. Is there any way to 'assign' those DMX channels to the color control so that when I select a color from the color wheel it actually changes the color of the scan being output?
Thanx

If you are using GM-20s for coloring, similar to the way Laser Media accomplished this back in the 80s... we recommend you use the Red, Green and Blue outputs. You should go through the Palette Setup Wizard and chose the option "Slow color modulation using actuators" and then follow the directions, which include directions on connecting the actuators themselves.

Using our preferred method you will be able to get the maximum benefit from LD2000, given the limited capabilities of your color system.
