DMX Control of quickshow, animation stutters...

I am using quickshow connected to an Enttec usb pro, I'm triggering quickshow cues from a DMX console, when I trigger any cue the playback of the animation stutters...

when i trigger the cues directly from quickshow the stuttering doesn't happen, so I guess it's the DMX data stream that generates the stutter...

is there a recommended configuration for the enttec unit?
has anyone seen this problem before?

Solved

I solved this problem... apparently it was the laptop i was using, I switched to a bigger machine and now the DMX data stream is perfect, animation doesn't stutter anymore....

Just so we can understand this problem, could you tell us the kind of laptop you were using?

Laptop specs

The laptop I was using is a Macbook Pro 15 inch core 2 duo 2.8 Ghz 4GB RAM, running win7 via bootcamp...

I guess mac hardware has issues with the Enttec unit, when I switched on the DMX monitor in Quickshow the data stream didn't run continuous, it would stop for a second every now and then...
