DMX/MIDI in QuickShow

I see that the cues are already assigned in their order for the MIDI keyboard.

How about DMX? What is QuickDMX? Can you use the "DMX in" on the FB3?

Hi Tim,

The DMX Daughterboard on an FB3 can only be used to control the FB3 itself. It can not be used as an input device, for software to receive DMX through it.

For DMX and QuickShow, we will be supporting the DMX PRO device from the company ENTTEC. This is a very popuar device so this is what we have chosen. This device provides both DMX input and output and we will support both with QuickShow.

This support is not in the current public build (build 128) but will be in a future build. As always, see the "What's new at Pangolin" section of our web site for information about when this will be available.

Another question

Another question - is the FB3 memory card ever put to use? Can you save a show to the card that runs automatically at startup like with LiveQuick?
