dmx question

ok guys

imm new to using dmx to run lasers but am in trigged by the live control i could get with out having to move between controllers (desk and pc)

imm looking at running 2 heads from pangolin LD2000
then patch them in to a Grand ma
shouldn't be to hard iv found what i need from the desks end

now hear is my problem the only channels i want control with dmx are the colour channels and the intensity

am i dreaming or is there a way to do this

Dear Paul,

Since you want to control two separate lasers with DMX, the best approach might be to use LivePRO, which allows you to make up your own DMX channel assignments, and create four virtual fixtures, each of which could be a single laser or multiple lasers. Since you create your own channel assignment, you can also enter the same assignment into the grand MA and go like that.

By the way, if you only wanted to control a single laser it is of course much more simple, and we also have DMX definitions for Grand MA for FB3/QuickShow and Showtime:Live at the PangolinShows portal. (Note we don't have DMX definitions for LivePRO because you make up your own channel assignment.)
