Do i need ilda for the Fb3

Hi there,
I have a FB3 SE (without DMX) and I've noticed that there's a mini USB port on the board as well as ilda.
i understand the ilda (in) & USB are to be mounted in the back of the projector but as far as the usb connection is concerned, is this what i would use to connect to the PC. If so, what's the ilda connector for?

USB connector is to edit the fb3 with LiveQ from your PC
ILDA connector is output to your projector
