FB4-SE FIRMWARE UPDATE 5.5

I am currently having an issue updating my FB4-SE Units
I have updated to 5.5 for Quickshow and Beyond, and the following happens when I attempt to update via the firmware updater tool in both softwares and this is what happpens:
The FB4 cards connect, detects outdated firmware, states firmware updated required for FB4-SE. I click on upate. ---->. 'Updating', ----> 'Checking SD Card', ----> 'Firmware Update Failed' then the FB4-SE lasers show a disconnects and reconnects.

Both units were outputting laser until updating to 5.5.
Since update, No output on either laser and both FB4-SE laser will not update.

If anyone has solved this issue, I greatly appreciate any information regarding a solution.

Probably best to email support at Pangolin for fast help.

But I would check for updates to Beyond, swap the sd card in the fb4 for a new one and try again

Most possibly the SD card has an issue. Try to re-format the MicroSD card.

FB4 works with MicroSD Cards which are formatted in FAT32 format. Windows cannot format MicroSD cards larger than 32GB, in FAT32 format. On this page, you can download a free utility that can format MicroSD cards of any size in FAT32 format.Tool: SD Card formatter.

If that does not work, try replacing the MicroSD card, (Or take one from a laser that already has been updated).

I had the same exact problem and it was the memory card that was causing it not to update so I had to change it out for a new 1 and it received the update and is working perfectly fine now.
