Green dot even when brightness is at 0

Hi, I've noticed a small problem. I have an evolite M2000 laser, and I've noticed that when my control box is properly connected, there's a small dot that stays lit despite the laser emission being deactivated or the brightness set to 0. When I unplug my control box, the dot disappears.
Can you explain this?

Could be a ground loop or the treshold of the green laser diode driver is not set correctly.

Not settings, try an plug without "earth", otherwise contact your supplyer, cause then something probably needs to be adjusted on the diode driver.
