How to accelerate two static beams slowly until they become a solid circle

We've all seen the Backstreet Boys in the sphere where a laser traces a circle on the video. How can I accelerate two beams rotating faster and faster until they become a solid circle?

I have a video I am tracing with an accelerating circle, and I want two beams to rotate faster and faster until they become a solid circle. I tried doing this by tracing frames of the video in the frame editor, but at a certain point the frame rate starts to phase and it becomes stroby. I tried keying a Z axis rotation, but again, it just starts phasing and does not become a solid circle. I was thinking of using a synthesized image, but how can I key the rotation speed to accelerate at a certain rate?

It seems perfectly logical to be able to make the scanners do this, I'm sure I could get it to happen using something like touchdesigner, but I need to upload a single cue into the FB4 to be triggered by timecode. Any ideas?

You can use a video conversion tool to convert this video into a sequence of images, then import these images into laser software and align their positions frame by frame within the software. A quick method is to use madmapper software, which can enhance your work efficiency
