I can't see the music spectrum (sinus) onto show time

Hello,

I had a look to the tutorial DVD, about showtime, and I see on version 3 that when opening a mp3 music we can see the music spectrum (sinus signal) just above the beatmarks.
But on my version 5 of showtime I don't have the spectrum, only the beatmarks

Is there an option, or is it normal? Because I'm friendly with "Premiere" which have this spectrum music display, and it helps me a lot.

Thanks :bounce:

As far as I know, and since I started using LD2000 and Showtime in 2007, I think it was around version 4.0 or 4.5, only .WAV files will show the waveform above the Showtime timeline; if you are loading a .mp3, the waveform will not be shown. If you need to see the waveform, I admit it helps a lot, then you need to convert the .mp3 to a .wav file and load the .wav in Showtime.

In QuickShow and BEYOND the waveform is shown when using an .mp3.

Ok, thanks for the answer, and yes it helps a lot, and yes I was using mp3 files.
I plan to buy Beyond, so I can wait a bit more ;)
