LCMax 3DSMax startup error

anyone get the following errors when starting 3DSmax6 after installing LCmax?

DLL <LCMax6Ut.dlu> failed to initialize
and
DLL <LCMax6Ut.dlr> failed to initialize

Yes I have in the past, if I remember right you need to get the right files from Bill....but I can't remember totally. I will be reinstalling my software today, so if I come across it I will let you know.

Hi Glenn,

You will get this on MAX version 6 and 7 if you do not use the correct files. With MAX 6 and 7, there are four files which comprise LCMax -- two plugin files, and two DLL files.

In any case, it seems that you figured this out because you sent me an email to this effect a few days ago.

Are the files from Max 6 (the 4 files for LCMAX) the same files for Max 7?

Yes, the files for MAX6 and MAX7 are the same.
