Why doesn't use masking functions the Beyond Quick Capture? Why only timeline?
If I am not mistaken and possible.
 
There are a few reason. Lets go directly to bottom line. "Capture" is a 1D list of cues, what it sort of simple timeline (without time line actually), just a multi tracking. But, Capture is too complex to be an Image. For playback Capture has similar restrictions as Timeline. So, why to spend time on Capture if there is much stronger container - timeline?
