Max. current and voltage at the Interlock pins

Hello,

I did not found any information about the maximum allowed current and voltage at the Interlock pins (Pin 4 and 17 at the QM2000 ILDA connector).

Do anybody knows that?

Thanks Bernd

According ILDA, pins 4 and 17 are wired together. So current limitation should depend on the PCB and the copper route connection both pins.

I would not put a electromagnetic shutter on this without a driver - if this i your intention. If connector is pulled, the coil of the shutter may produce a voltage peak and as the energy does not know where to go, it can be really hight ;-)

I agree with John,

I cant remember the thickness of the trace. It is probably 10 or 12 mils, and is pretty short. The trace itself should be able to handle upwards of an amp, but I wouldn't put that kind of current through there...
