Hi All,
I've been doing some shows where I alternate between using Beyond for short laser/A/V/Smoke control and pure projections for long films. I did it this way as I thought VLC/Plex is "safer" for pure film projection.
But I'm wondering whether it would be reliable enough to use Beyond for everything.
This would entail up to 6 laser/A/V shows of up to 5 mins each (ie laser/AV/DMX tracks) followed by a pure movie show on a single AV track for up to 3 hours.
Has anyone done anything similar, or what's the max length AV track used?
Obviously I could (and will) try it but even if it works once doesn't mean it will work reliably next time.
Whereas I know Plex and VLC have been totally reliable so far, even over a local network.
Any help/experience/advice gratefully received.
