MIDI control for LA Studio Abstraction?

I have been using LA studio Abstraction with the FB3 and it is loads of fun for real time abstracts. I just noticed that some parameters of the oscillators, mirror functions, etc. appear to be assignable to an external control.

Can these parameters be controlled by an external MIDI controller? Has anyone tried this? What kinds of controllers have worked with this? I was hoping to buy and use a Behringer ROTARY BCR2000 if possible.

Many things in LAStudio and LivePRO can be controlled by MIDI. The problem is the nature of your particular controller. LivePRO and LAStudio and even Showtime:Live require "control change" and "parameter change" messages. What your console puts out is a kind of "incremental step" command, not really a value. So... your particular console won't work unfortunately.

Would the Korg KP3 Kaoss Pad or Akai MPD32 work as MIDI controllers?

If not, do you have any suggestions for a controller that works well with Pangolin products?
