i am trying to solve a midi mapping problem i came across in Beyond. When sending midi note ON from Live into Beyond to trigger clips on the grid i am able to map them correctly however if i change the velocity of the note in Live the mapping no longer works. i can see on the midi monitor that the data is coming in but the velocity of the note has to be always the same as the original mapping in order for the trigger to work. I tried the mapping function in Quickshow and it works with any velocity - i.e. the only information that it is interested in is the midi note number. Is there a setting in Beyond that I have missed that would allow the note ON mapping to work with any velocity? no issues with the Note OFF as the velocity is always the same number. hope that makes sense! any help would be greatly appreciated
