In my country there is a lot of audience scanning, virtually all lasershow company work with lasers of an avarage power of 4.5W. I've got a SP168 4.5W Laser head(white light)a PCAOM (Hicolor by Medialas) and a fibre-fed Scan unit with CT6800 galvos. The whole is of course controlled by Pangolin's LD 
I'm wondering if an audience scanning performed in this conditions can be considered safe (under MPE). I've always thought it is because as I said, all the shows I've ever seen (here in Switzerland) are done with this power if not even higher in venues with a capacity of 500 people.
